All of our starter leads come with heatshrink as standard, giving their solder joints an extra layer of protection. We also use clear heatshrink on our IP-rated LED tapes to provide reliable resistance against water and dust. For our IP65 LED tapes, we heatshrink the ends, sealing them thoroughly. And the ends of our IP67 LED tape are hot glued and heatshrank, for true protection from water.
You can also purchase our heatshrink coating separately in whatever lengths you need – so you can seal the ends, or fully waterproof and protect your LED tape yourself.
