Residential LED Lighting – Farmhouse Project
Project Description
Using LED lighting products and expertise supplied by InStyle LED, a Derbyshire resident has created a range of stunning interior lighting effects in his renovated farmhouse home.
Mick, the homeowner, has been working hard on renovating the former farmhouse for the past two years. To achieve this incredible installation, he used a clever mix of InStyle products:
80m of RGB LED tape (15w 24v)
1 x DMX wall controller
2 x DMX receiver
2 x Multizone wireless controllers
5 x Multizone receivers
2 x 100w 24v transformer
2 x 320w 24v transformer
3 x 150w 24v transformer IP
2 x transformer enclosures
Main Entrance Hall
The heart of the main entrance hall’s design is a striking circular lighting feature. The colour-changing RGB LED tape that Mick used for this project enables the lighting to be adjusted to any shade by setting red, green and blue levels. Mick fitted a multizone controller and receivers, enabling him to synchronize the circle lighting and the hall’s coving LEDs together or to control them independently.
Stairs
Stairs have been given an impressive makeover with some well-placed LEDs.
Games Room
The farmhouse basement has been repurposed as a games room. This location makes use of a DMX wall controller. Mick liked the controller’s functionality – which includes sound-to-light, changing the lighting in sync with the beat of music when he is hosting parties at home.
Ensuite Bathroom
With a great view overlooking Derbyshire fields, the top bedroom’s bathroom now looks just as breathtaking with the blinds closed! Mick used a second multizone controller / receiver combination to govern the lighting here.
