The Etihad stadium – home to the world’s richest club Manchester City – has had an internal refit.

Instyle LED were called upon to offer mood and feature lighting for the Directors Lounge and VIP boxes.

The Directors Lounge Case Study

The Directors Lounge had perspex fitted behind the bar area, Instyle LED’s 7.2w RGB LED tape was fitted all around the edge shining inwards to light up the Perspex sheets.

There are also ceiling features with a cutout coving for the LED tape to sit in, again the 7.2w RGB LED tape was used lighting up the cutout to give great feature lighting.

All of the LED tape transformers were fitted in a cupboard, and 4-core 1.5mm cable was brought to the start of each run.

An InStyle DMX wall controller for LEDs was used to control all of the LED tape – allowing the customer to fully dim, select any shade of any colour, run colour scrolls etc. The customer was extremely please with the results.

For the VIP boxes, single-colour blue LED tape was used in coving all around the ceiling. A transformer was fitted in the cupboard and 2-core cable was brought to the start of the LED run.
