Devisdale Pool using LED tape and optic extrusion

Belmont homes complete another luxury project using InStyle LED’s commercial LED tape.

Belmont homes are well known for completing their ‘high-end’ luxury projects to perfection, and yet again they didn’t fail to deliver. They were given the task to install lighting in this swimming pool area. The project included open showers, a spiral stair case and LED lighting features.

InStyle LED were called upon by Belmont Homes to advise and supply LED lighting for the project. After Simon at Belmont had shown John the features that required illumination, John had an idea of what would complete the project.

The swimming pool area has two large walls, 16m in total length and 3m high. Simon wanted the whole wall ‘lit up’ in one direction, from a light source installed at the top of the wall. InStyle LED supplied high bright 20W LED tape (commercial grade), fitted into our Optic extrusions to produce the even ‘throw’ Simon was looking for it was . Optic extrusions use a lens that narrows the LED tape’s beam from 120 degrees to 60 degrees, focusing the light down a wall in a wall-washer effect. Splashproof IP67 LED tape was used to protect the diodes against condensation and water damage. The effect looks stunning, exactly what the customer was looking for.

Next up was another LED lighting feature. This time there was a ‘cut out’ feature in the ceiling. The effect required was a halo glow, to highlight up the ‘cut out’. InStyle supplied 30m in total of warm white LED tape (5W commercial grade). This was installed on one side of the ceiling feature and ‘lit’ across the gap to produce the desired halo. Again IP67 LED tape was used for protection against moisture. The result worked perfectly and adds a unique feature. See picture below
