Here’s a great practical home-bathroom design, created and installed by Tim Korbey for ‘No Problems Just Solutions Electrical’ using supplies from InStyle LED.

Tim used a 60-watt 12v internal transformer to power 10 metres of commercial grade 5-watt LED tape strips – glue-sealed to IP67 standard in order to waterproof it. He chose tape producing a pure-white light (no ‘warm’ shading), to give the bathroom space a cool, modern feel. The LED tape is fitted inside an extrusion profile with an opal cover, which diffuses the individual LED ‘dots’ to produce a smooth lightbar effect.

InStyle’s LED strips were used in the shower and around the bathroom’s twin basins, all powered off one transformer and a single light switch.
