Instyle LED tape Car Installations

Plush Automotive has recently teamed up with InStyle in an innovative car LED lights installation project.

Plush are well known for their high-quality and imaginative car installs. They were looking to use LED lighting in their latest project, so they called on InStyle LED to create a colour-changing LED solution. With more than 10 years’ experience supplying quality, commercial grade LED lighting products, we were the ideal partner.

Luke Massy director of Plush Automotive planned to use colour-changing car LED lights to sharpen up an Air Ride air compressor unit, adding a unique special feature to the car.

Once the Air Ride compressor had been installed, a hole was cut out and perspex was slotted into the gap. The RGB LED tape was then fitted – hidden all around the circular hole and positioned to shine inwards, to really light up the Air Ride.

InStyle’s colour-changing RGB LEDs are set and adjusted by a wireless receiver, which is wired between the lights and the car’s battery. (These car LED lights only require a 12 volt input.) The handheld wireless controller doesn’t need to be ‘line of sight’ with the receiver, which allows the receiver to be tucked away and hidden. The controller works at up to 20M distance, and allows the owner to select any shade of any colour using its cool ‘touch wheel’ interface. The controller also enables colour scrolls, white light, and fully dimming.

Luke Massy and his customer were both extremely impressed with the results, and they’ll be using our car LED lights on future installs.
